Jack Miner’s National Wildlife Week is a beloved annual event rooted in the cultural and conservation history of our region. Held in honour across the nation each year during the week of Jack Miner’s birthday, this free, family-friendly celebration brings the Sanctuary to life with hands-on learning, historic tours, wildlife demonstrations, vendors, and much more.
Free, Family-Friendly, and Community Focused
For generations, National Wildlife Week has brought families, students, and nature-lovers together at no cost, inspiring curiosity, stewardship, and regional pride while making conservation history and education accessible to all.
Sponsorship Opportunities at Every Level
To keep this event free and accessible—and to evolve and expand event activities and programming in the years ahead—the Sanctuary is seeking event sponsors across a range of levels of support. Each sponsorship level offers meaningful marketing and recognition benefits, making this an ideal opportunity for businesses and organizations to support conservation while gaining visibility within the community.
We want to thank everyone who makes this annual community event possible! A huge thank you to the St. Clair College Alumni Association for being a proud event sponsor (2024 – 2028).
